Each well contains 30 mg of WAX sorbent, which is a polymeric reversed-phase, weak anion exchange mixed-mode sorbent. It is specifically batch-selected for optimal oligonucleotide selectivity and recovery, making it suitable for the extraction of oligonucleotides and related DNA/RNA therapeutics from complex biological matrices.

The 1 cc flangeless cartridges contain a polymeric reversed-phase, weak anion exchange mixed-mode sorbent. This sorbent is optimized for fast, simple, and highly selective sample preparation of strong acidic compounds. It is water wettable, maintaining higher retention and excellent recoveries even if the sorbent runs dry, eliminating the need to prevent sorbent beds from drying out before sample loading. The flangeless configuration allows for close packing of cartridges for processing in specialized automated SPE systems.
