Sep-Pak Alumina N Vac cartridges contain a highly active grade of alumina with a neutral surface chemistry. The aluminum oxide surface provides an extremely polar surface for analyte retention and has properties of a Lewis acid. This normal phase sorbent is similar in use to silica; however, it is slightly more stable than unfunctionalized silica under high pH conditions. This neutral alumina is suitable for applications such as synthetic crude oil fractionation. These syringe-barrel-type cartridges are designed for use with vacuum manifolds and automated SPE instruments.

Sep-Pak Accell Plus CM Vac cartridges contain a silica-based, hydrophilic weak cation-exchanger with large pore size (300Å). The cartridges are designed for extraction of cationic analytes in aqueous and non-aqueous solutions. The large pore size makes it ideal for isolation of molecules such as cationic proteins. Other applications include extraction of steriods, pesticides, and herbicides. These syringe-barrel-type cartridges are designed for use with vacuum manifolds and automated SPE instruments.

The 3 cc flangeless Oasis WAX cartridges contain the Oasis WAX sorbent, which is a polymeric reversed-phase, weak anion exchange mixed-mode sorbent that has been optimized for fast, simple, and highly selective sample preparation of strong acidic compounds. Since the Oasis WAX sorbent is water wettable, it maintains its capability for higher retention and excellent recoveries even if the sorbent runs dry, which means there is no need to take extraordinary steps to keep the sorbent beds from drying out during the critical steps prior to sample loading. The flangeless configuration allows the cartridges to be closely packed for processing in specialized automated SPE systems.

The Oasis HLB cartridges for Symbiosis/Prospekt-2 systems are designed for rugged, reproducible, and ultra-fast on-line SPE in the Spark Holland Symbiosis and Prospekt-2 systems. Each cartridge contains 10.4 mg of Oasis HLB, a universal polymeric reversed-phase sorbent for extraction of a wide range of acidic, basic, and neutral compounds from various matrices. Each 800-series tray contains 96 cartridges and can be directly loaded into the Automatic Cartridge Exchange (ACE) or the ACE Feeder units of the Symbiosis/Prospekt-2 systems without the stainless steel tray holder/adaptor. Sep-Pak Alumina B Vac cartridges contain a highly active grade of alumina with a basic surface chemistry. The aluminum oxide surface provides an extremely polar surface for analyte retention and has properties of a Lewis acid. This normal phase sorbent is similar in use to silica; however, it is slightly more stable than unfunctionalized silica under high pH conditions. This basic alumina is also low-capacity ion exchanger in aqueous media. Sep-Pak Alumina B Vac cartridges can be used to extract phospholipids, steroids, and catecholamines. Since Sep-Pak Alumina B is unaffected by high-energy radioactivity, these cartridges can be used for radioactive compound isolation. These syringe-barrel-type cartridges are designed for use with vacuum manifolds and automated SPE instruments.
