Cellulose 300 with UV254, glass backed TLC plates. The coating thickness is 250um and dimensions are 20x20cm. There are 25 plates per pack. Applications include: partition chromatography of polar substances such as amino acids, carboxylic acids or carbohydrates. Cellulose is especially used for partition chromatographic separations of polar substances such as amino acids and other carboxylic acids or carbohydrates. Compared to paper chromatography (PC) thin layer chromatography, cellulose offers shorter migration times and more concentrated substance spots resulting in a higher detection sensitivity. TLC plates (CEL 300) are coated with native, fibrous cellulose.

It can be used in both normal phase or reversed phase separations with eluents from anhydrous solvents to mixtures with high concentrations of water. The relative polarity of the eluent determines the polarity of the layer. The Silica 60 has a surface area of 500 m2/g, mean pore size of 60A, specific pore volume of 0.75 ml/g, particle size of 2-10um, and pH stability of 2-10. The TLC plates contain UV254 fluorescent indicator. The UV-absorbing substances appear as dark-blue to black spots on a light - blue background. This analytical layer is bound to a glass support. It has a thickness of 250um and dimensions of 10x0cm. There are 25 plates per pack. Alumina Neutral (pH 6-8) analytical, aluminum backed TLC plates. The coating thickness is 200um and dimensions are 20x20cm. There are 25 plates per pack. Applications include: terpenes, alkaloids, steroids, aliphatic and aromatic compounds. To ensure sufficient adherence an inert organic binder is added to the aqueous suspension for coating. The aluminum oxide layer has a specific surface of about 200 m2/g (BET) and a pore size of about 60A. To activate the aluminum oxide layer, we recommend heating the TLC plates for 10 minutes at 120C.

The TLC plates contain UV254 fluorescent indicator. This analytical soft layer is bound to an aluminum support. It has a thickness of 200um and dimensions of 20x20cm. There are 25 plates per pack. The Silica XG TLC Plate has outstanding wettability for precise colorization results, even with 100% aqueous detection reagents, and excellent separation efficiency and reproducibility from lot to lot. Cutting the plates is easy and reliable due to an optimized binder system. There is no flaking of silica gel layer. Binder: highly polymeric product, which is stable in almost all organic solvents and resistant towards aggressive visualization reagents; also completely stable in purely aqueous eluents.

There is an increased separation efficiency due to an optimized particle size distribution.
