Frocks and Smocks
Frocks and smocks are available in disposable or reuseable styles. They are made from materials designed to provide protection as well as ease of movement such as polyester, polypropylene, microporous, or composite fabrics. Controlled environment specific frocks and smocks are made from materials that are low-linting and static dissipative. Frocks and smocks have zipper, snap, or tie closures and may feature pockets for storing smaller tools or personal items.
Frocks are longer garments that cover the body from the shoulders to the knees or ankles. They have a fitted or cinched waistline that flares out to a fuller skirt. Smocks are shorter and cover the upper body from the shoulders to the waist or hip area. They have a straight silhouette and are typically worn as overgarments.
