Pipette Specific Tips
Disposable pipette tips designed to fit specific manufacturers’ single and multichannel pipettes; offer optimal performance with the pipette for which they were designed but may be used with other pipettes when performance is not critical.
Pipettor manufacturers typically produce pipette tips designed specifically for their products. Some manufacturer specific tips can be used with other pipettor brands, however. And universal pipette tips can be substituted for the manufacturer specific tips. Generally, the pairing of the manufacturers’ pipettors and pipettor-specific tips produce the best results.
Manufacturer specific tips are available sterile or non-sterile; in a range of sizes, styles, and colors; and with and without filters. They may be sold in bulk packaging, in racks, individually wrapped, blister-packed, or in reload formats.

The Beckman Coulter B85981 is a pipette tip that is compatible with the Biomek series of automated liquid handlers. It has a volume range of 20-200 microliters and is made from virgin polypropylene for reliable performance. The tips have a universal fit and are designed for accurate aspiration and dispensing. They are sterile, free of detectable DNase/RNase, human genomic DNA, and PCR inhibitors. The tips come in resealable bags of 1000 tips per bag.
