WPI's Mouse and rat tail cuff blood pressure measuring systems for preclincial research, a true turn-key system when it is key critical for determining accurate, consistent blood pressure on mice, rats or any other laboratory animal test subject. A compact, simple yet versatile system that can test from a single up to 200 animals at a time with independent control of each channel. Simple daisy-chaining of systems allow expansion of systems, up to 200 independently, controlled channels. No other system in the world has such vast capabilities as the IITC blood pressure systems. Single animal systems are controlled from the touch screen which allows keying in all necessary test setups. These rodent restrainers are used with the non-invasive blood pressure tail cuff system for mice and rats. A small slit is cut in the diaphragm to accommodate the animal’s snout or beak. The opposite end tapers down to a standard press fitting port measuring 15.3 mm OD x 11.9 mm ID. These Masks can be used with bain circuits, non-rebreathing systems, or ‘Y’ pieces. Includes 1 diaphragm.

The Instech C10SS-MTV2026P is a 29-gauge (29ga) stainless steel tail vein cannula designed for manual dosing or sampling in restrained mice. This system features a sharp needle with a needle guard for safety and a 9.8 in (25 cm) segment of PE-10 extension tubing. To create a low-dead-volume closed system, it includes an integrated PinPort™ and an injector for aseptic access. Because it uses a sharp needle rather than a flexible catheter, it is intended for immediate use during brief restraint and is not designed for long-term implantation. Each unit is EtO sterilized and individually packaged to ensure surgical-grade cleanliness for laboratory research applications.
