Cylindrical shaped drying tower has a 34/28 ground glass stopper. The stopper has a hole coinciding with a serrated hose connection sealed in the outer portion of the stopper neck and a second hose connection near the base of the cylinder. A hex base is sealed to the bottom of the tower for added stability.

Complete apparatus consists of a desiccant flask, drying chamber, round bottom flask and Allihn condenser.

Drying Chamber, #40 O-Ring Joint, Lower Vessel 40mm ID X 100mm Height, Airfree, Schlenk, #65 Clamp Size, #226 O-Ring Size. Chamber for use in drying small quantities of material in dram vials. Can also be used in the transfer of materials from glovebox to glovebox or to the vacuum line. Lower vessel has a flat bottom permitting it to be stood upright on the bench or in a glovebox. Top adapter has a 0-4mm Chem-Vac™ Chem-Cap valve. Complete item is supplied with the corresponding CG-150 Stainless Steel pinch clamp and one Viton o-ring.

Drying Tower, KOH, Extra Coarse Frit, For Portable Vacuum System, Airfree, Schlenk. Tower is designed to fit on cart system between the vacuum and pump oil trap. Trap has a sealed-in extra coarse fritted disc for support of KOH, and is 50mm ID x 250mm effective length with both ends having #20 o-ring joints. Lower adapter has a #20 o-ring joint with a 1" OD tubulation for connection to flexible vacuum tubing. Complete item consists of one KOH tower, one lower tubing adapter, one AF-0300-14, 90º connection adapter, two CG-150-06 #35 Stainless Steel pinch clamps and two #214 Viton o-rings. Approximately 18" of flexible tubing is required to connect the tower assembly to the AF-0300-08 oil pump trap along with two AF-0300-11 hose clamps. Tubing and clamps are NOT supplied with tower but can be ordered separately under AF-0300-12 and AF-0300-11.
