Stirring Shaft, 19mm, Chem-Stir, 50L-72L Flasks, 895mm OAL, Complete with PTFE Nut and Bolt. A 19mm OD precision ground stirrer shaft with our patented** Chem-Stir blade attachment system. Shaft (C) has been manufactured with a ring at the lower end to permit attachment of the blade (B) with a PTFE nut (D) and bolt (A). Shaft is supplied complete with PTFE nut and bolt set. The top end of the stirrer shaft is reduced to 1/2" (12.7mm) to fit into a CG-2046-03 universal adapter while the unground length varies to accommodate different flask capacities. PLEASE NOTE: STIRRER BLADES MUST BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY.THESE SHAFTS ARE NOT TO BE USED WITH ANY TYPE OF PTFE BEARING. FOR POLISHED SHAFTS USED WITH PTFE BEARINGS SEE CG-2087.PLEASE NOTE: 19MM SHAFTS HAVE A REDUCED DIAMETER TOP SECTION THAT IS 1/2"OD, PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND WHEN SELECTING THE PROPER SIZE COUPLING.

Compact Tru-Stir Shaft Coupling fits 14mm Shaft OD for use with Jacobs Chuck. Similar to CG-2044 but the overall height is 1” shorter. The unique design of our Tru-Stir™ stirrer shaft coupling eliminates the need to use rubber hose or universal adapters to attach your stirrer shafts to overhead stir motors. Coupling incorporates a unique helical S.S. spring permitting up to 1/8” of offset misalignment. Coupling is rated for 21 in-lbs of torque without the backlash normally associated w/common coil springs.Lower portion of coupling has a nylon adapter w/one piece collar for attachment to 14mm stirrer shafts. Upper adapters permit the coupling to be used w/ a standard Jacobs style 3-jaw chuck. Upper coupling size is 3/8". Adapter is also available for use with CG-2047 flexible shafts having 5/16” end fittings. Overall length of the coupling is 3”. Supplied complete with an allen wrench set.
