For use in moderate vacuum with a CG-2084 or CG-2085 precision ground 19mm OD stirrer shaft. PLEASE NOTE: NOT FOR USE WITH CG-2087 or CG-2088 PRECISION GROUND AND POLISHED STIRRER SHAFTS.

10mm Tru-Stir Stirrer Shaft Coupling, Tool-Free, 5/16" Upper Male Coupling, For Use with 3-Jaw Jacobs Chuck. The unique design of our Tool-Free Tru-Stir stirrer shaft coupling eliminates the need to use rubber hose or universal adapters to attach your stirrer shafts to overhead stir motors. Coupling incorporates a unique helical stainless steel spring permitting up to 1/4¿ of offset misalignment and 45¿ of angular misalignment. Coupling is rated for 24 in-lbs of torque without the backlash normally associated with common coil springs.Lower portion of coupling has an anodized aluminum compression nut that secures a 10mm diameter stirrer shaft via a neoprene insert. This unique design allows a Tool-Free connection between the stirrer shaft and coupling. Upper adapter is 5/16¿ diameter, which permits the coupling to be used with a standard Jacobs style 3-jaw chuck. Overall length of the coupling is 4-3/4¿.

Chemglass Life Sciences PEEK Compression Cap, 19mm
Grease-Free PTFE stirrer bearing for use under moderate vacuum. The bearing consists of a PTFE standard taper body, PEEK (Polyetheretherketone) compression cap, PTFE Insert/bushing and a Nylon loosening nut. The PTFE insert/bushing provides only glass and PTFE contact with the reaction. Loosening nut above the standard taper inner joint allows easy and quick removal. Supplied complete with a Perfluoro o-ring on the body and a Viton o-ring on the bushing.
