Microtubes
Single-use containers designed to hold microliter to milliliter quantities of liquid. Products may be sterile/non-sterile, come with or without a variety of caps (screw, tether, snap), and may be suitable for use in microcentrifuges.
High quality standard snap cap microtubes, or microcentrifuge tubes, are essential for the safe processing of low to medium sized sample volume applications in clinical chemistry, biochemistry and molecular biology. Ideal for protein research, mass spectrometry, protein array, sample preparation, microcentrifugation and sample storage, they are available in a variety of colours, including amber and black for light sensitive samples.
The snap cap provides a safe, liquid-tight seal and some flat top caps include a needle insertion spot. Some microtubes are also available with additional safety lock snap caps to minimise sample loss during the centrifugation process and to provide added security when working with samples that are radioactive or which pose a biohazard.

Available as sterile or non-sterile, polypropylene microtubes can also feature low binding properties to reduce protein and nucleic acid loss and hence better sample recovery.

Microcentrifuge tubes made from USP VI grade polypropylene with a 1.5 mL capacity and clear graduations for easy volume reading. Designed for high-speed centrifugation up to 30,000 x g, they include a frosted marking area and a cap that permits needle access while providing easy opening and closing. Tubes are autoclavable and DNase/RNase-free, suitable for a wide temperature range.

Electron Microscopy Sciences Five-O™ 5ml Tubes Attchd Screw Caps, Sterile
Our new 5 ml Five-O screw cap tubes are made of maximim clarity, low-binding virgin polypropylene and are certified RNase and DNase free. They are sized to be compatible with all Benchmark (USA) and standard German-designed equipment, including centrifuges, dry bath block heaters, tube racks and thermal shakers/vortexers. Screw cap tubes are supplied with 20 mm OD caps that seal smoothly and completely with a single 360 degree turn.
Useful from -86 deg C to 100 deg C, they are a valuable resource for boiling and sample preservation at very low temperatures. The foam racks are similar to the packaging normally associated with 15 ml tubes (upright woth caps attached), but require about 60 percent less storage space. Feature dual graduations at every 0.2 ml and 0.5 ml.

Andwin Scientific 2.0 ML LOW ADHESION MICROCENTR
The 2.0 mL microcentrifuge tube features graduations that allow precise sample measurement. This product also has a frosted cap and side that can be written on, which then permits easy sample organization and identification.
