Electron Microscopy Sciences SuperFrost™ PLUS Adhesion Slide, White
Superfrost Plus glass slides feature:
They place a permanent positive charge in the microscope slide.
They electrostatically attract frozen tissue sections and cytology preparations, binding them to the slide.
They form a bridge so that covalent bonds develop between formalin fixed sections and the glass.
Tissue sections and cytological preparations adhere better to the Plus glass slides without the need for special adhesives or protein coatings.
Plus glass puts an end to background staining and eliminates blue or red background staining which is often encountered in hematoxylin and eosin staining and brown background staining in immuno-peroxidase or in situ DNA proceduress.
Plus allow for a higher degree of enzyme digestion without the loss of tissue sections and cytological preparations placed on Plus glass resist cell loss. Plus glass improves tissue adherence in microwave staining.

Surgibond contains n-butyl cyanoacrylate tissue adhesive and is used to bond tissue together for veterinary procedures (i. e. cat declaws, lacerations, abrasions, suture/staple line sealing, tooth extractions; oral surgeries). Surgibond may be applied for the closure of wounds after careful adaption of the wound edges as a suture substitute, for additional suture support and for protection of infections after sutures. Surgibond contains blue dye to allow user to easily see where product has been applied. On contact with body tissue, Surgibond adhesive changes from liquid to solid state by polymerizing within seconds to seal the wound. Adhesive stops minor bleeding and binds wound edges. May eliminate need for sutures/b and ages in some instances Acts as a barrier to keep foreign matter from entering the wound Tissue adhesive is sloughed as healing occurs Comes with 5 applicators

These TOMO hydrophilic adhesion slides offer superior tissue adhesion, staining performance and slide surface fluidics. These slides are recommended for use on Ventana Benchmark staining platform and automated IHC platforms. The surface of the TruBond 380 microscope slide is hydrophilic allowing the tissued to be refloated in the water bath for repositioning the tissue section and allowing the microscope slide to be used on all automated IHC platforms. They are especially useful in preventing tissue loss when performing high temperature antigen retrieval or enzyme digestion, and are ideal for use in immunostaining of formalin fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) and frozen tissue where stronger adhesion microscope slides are required. Specimen Slide identification is VITAL. Automated etched slide labeling instruments ensure specimen slide integrity but are difficult to read on ordinary slides. To clearly read diamond scribed slide labels against any surface, you need the only slide designed to be used with your automated slide labeling instrument. You need COLORMARK slides.
These brightly printed slides greatly improve etched labeling visibility and offer all the advantages of Superfrost slides. A bright contrasting color has been printed on the back of the Superfrost end so that patient or specimen information etched through the painted end on the front is clearly visible. Colormark Plus slides are adhesive coated therefore ensuring the adhesion of the section to the slide during staining procedures.
