Electron Microscopy Sciences PS78 Micrometer Standard with UKAS Cert
These stage micrometers are available with a calibration certificate that provides traceability for the precise calibration and confirmation of accuracy of optical measuring instruments, necessary under ISO provisions. The glass discs are mounted in stainless steel slides with engraved serial numbers. Each slide is supplied in a polished wooden storage case. A UKAS accredited laboratory carries out measurements at selected points on the scales and grids and issues a calibration certificate.

You will save pump down time, keep your chamber cleaner and get more work done. All mounts are machined from solid aluminum and come with spring clips/or setscrews to hold your specimens securely. All mounts are made to fit onto your stage and are designed to fit through all standard specimen exchange ports, and have a center-threaded port to accept the Adapter Pins.

Ted Pella Inc Lacey Carbon Type-A, 300 mesh, Copper approx. grid hole size: 63µm, 50/pk
A Lacey carbon film with a removable Formvar backing on the opposite side of the grid. When the Formvar is removed, by dipping in solvent, the Lacey carbon film remains. These films are stable under all EM operating conditions and for use where the presence of Formvar can not be tolerated. Pure Lacey Carbon is more delicate than those with Formvar backing and require more careful handling during specimen preparation. Holes are completely open.

These isolation tables support most of the larger microscopes and their support equipment. The air isolation platform effectively removes most removes most vibrations. The rigid frame has levelling feet which ensure the table is in excellent contact with the floor. The damped rolling diaphragm isolators have a low natural frequency of 2Hz which effectively isolates out vibrations above 6Hz, well below the frequencies at which typical building vibrations begin to occur. Advanced techniques of thin metal film application permits the apertures to retain a clean hole edge during prolonged beam exposure. Ultra-thin, half-micron design discourages contaminant accumulation and stabilizes astigmatic conditions to provide longer life. Conventional mechanical cleaning involving costly down-time is no longer necessary. Because the foil is ultra thin, care must be taken when handling the gold foil apertures.

PremaDisk Flexible Diamond Grinding Discs offer superior surface finishes that are usually only seen in lapping processes.
The SM disc is a medium-hard resin bond base for fine grinding and polishing of metals, ceramics and glass.
