Microscope Accessories and Replacement Parts
General accessories and parts for use with microscopes. Products include lens oil, lens cleaner, slide dispensers, microscope covers, vessel holders, light cubes, and flow cells.
Many parts of your microscope can be updated or replaced including microscope lamps, lenses, and eyepieces. Replacement lamps, light sources, and power cords can extend the working lives of your microscopy equipment. New or replacement objectives and lenses can help increase the total magnification available with your microscope.
Add greater magnification or exchange your eyepiece for one with a reticule to more easily estimate the sizes of the items being viewed.
Replace or update your mechanical stage or clamps or add cell culture vessel adapters to facilitate specimen positioning.
Condensers can also be replaced, and conversion kits are available to add phase contrast, polarization, fluorescence, or other capabilities to your current system.
Some microscopes can be adapted for use with still or video cameras. Look for cameras and adapters designed for your specific microscope brand. Film and documentation-related products may also be available to support your record-keeping.
Temporary, semi-permanent, and more long-term slide storage options include:
- Slide racks that securely hold slides during staining procedures
- Folding fiberboard or plastic slide holders with horizontal indentations that keep microscope slides in place
- Slide storage boxes with vertical dividers; made from fiberboard, plastic, and wood and available in multiple sizes

Electron Microscopy Sciences EMS Substrate Gold Coated 4'' Silicon Wafer, P-Type <100>, 100 mm
EMS offers a variety of economically priced coated substrates. All coatings are deposited under vacuum using electron beam evaporation. These high quality substrates are coated with 500 Angstroms (50 nm) of gold, with a thin chromium adhesion layer (2-7 nm) between the glass and coating. All substrates are pre-cleaned using an ion source for quality assurance. Autoclavable.

Electron Microscopy Sciences EMS25 TEM Grid Storage Box, Numbered 25 Slots
The EMS25 is a small capacity grid storage box, designed as a low cost alternative to larger grid boxes where extra storage capacity is not required. The box has a sliding cover, allowing access to 5 slots at a time. Each diamond shaped hole is capable of storing a 3.05 mm or 2.3 mm diameter grid. Storage referencing is managed via recessed alpha numeric indexing on the sides of the box.
The box contains two side features, allowing for easier handling during specimen removal, as well as a matt strip for extra notation. The boxes come with a durable 25 column card for record keeping. Our grid boxes are intended for use in both routine grid handling and for long term grid storage. Their compact flat shape and low cost make them well suited for the transportation of coated grid products and for the long term storage of catalogued specimens.

Electron Microscopy Sciences Cold Mount GeoFix Acrylic Resin
800g powder, 500 ml liquid. Easy to use resins with short curing times and negligible shrinkage. Self-polymerizing components that harden with addition of catalyst. Hardened acrylic is thermoplastic/resistant to most chemicals.

Electron Microscopy Sciences Gold Coated Specimen Discs for AFM, 15 mm
Magnetic stainless steel gold coated specimen discs have smooth edges and consistently flat surfaces to ensure secure holding. Specimens can be mounted directly on the metal discs with double sided tape, epoxy or conductive paste. If a mica specimen support is needed, the mica discs can be easily mounted on the metal support discs.
These discs offer excellent resistance to electromigration, high electrical and thermal conductivity, and high temperatures making them excellent substrates for mounting specimens. Packaged in a polystyrene disc storage box.
