It has been optimized for small sample volumes upto 700 ul. Its unique design allows fitting on a wide variation of tubes, e.g. 1.5 ml /2.0 ml reaction tubes, 15 ml conical centrifuge tubes, FACS-tubes, Cryo vials, 24 well plate and 48 well plate.

The Flip-Strainer Brand “Pluristrainer” is a separation device (or cell strainer) for a wide range of laboratory applications where the filtration, particle separation and the purification of liquids is required. Its unique design features improved ventilation to avoid clogging for a smart sample preparation. Pluristrainers are stackable to a cascade of strainers. They are flip-strainers and allow flashing back the separated particles. For large sample volumes it can be combined with a funnel. It fits all major brand 50 mL centrifuge . (conical) tubes. The combination with the Connector Ring allows the evacuation of the 50 ml tube-Strainer unit to increase the flow rate. Pressure exchange can be completely blocked. The sample will now stay inside the strainer and can be incubated/treated, including with commonly used cell lysis reagents. This product line cannot be autoclaved!
