Osram HLX bulbs use xenon gas fill for increased luminous efficacy (up to 10% higher) and optimum color rendering for medical equipment and projector applications. The EFP bulb must be operated in a vertical (plus or minus 45 degrees) base down position. The bulb has a rated life of 50 hours.
