The D-Torch is a revolutionary new demountable torch design with interchangeable outer tubes. Quartz outer tubes are ideal for most aqueous samples, while Ceramic Outer Tubes (N0777052) may last longer for samples with high dissolving solids or for organic applications, such as wear metals in engine oils. This 3-slot demountable quartz outer tube allows for easy replacement and maintenance of the D-Torch. The replaceable outer tube is also more economical to replace than having to change the complex quartz assembly of the standard Optima torch.
