Acinetobacter baumannii Bouvet and Grimont (BAA-3300) is a clinically isolated, multidrug-resistant bacterial strain intended for research applications including antimicrobial development, molecular detection assay validation, and sterility testing. The strain was isolated in 2004 from a tracheal specimen in Singapore. ATCC provides initial antimicrobial susceptibility characterization and predicted resistance gene annotations from next-generation sequencing data; these data are provided for informational purposes and may not represent complete gene sequences.
