IP Biopsy VI cassettes are two-piece biopsy cassettes with 0.67 mm pores, a 45 degree writing surface and a secure latch closure. Electron Microscopy Sciences Square Mesh Cassettes with Lids Packed Separate, Pink
Biopsy processing cassettes are similar to the slotted cassettes but have a 1 mm square mesh for small biopsies. Made from Acetyl Polymer, which is a special high density polymer that keeps specimens safely submerged in solution, these cassettes are totally resistant to most histological solvents and their slots offer maximum flow through for good fluid exchange and proper drainage.
The lids can be opened and closed as often as necessary and they always relock securely without danger of specimen loss. Large labeling areas are located on three sides of the cassette for your convenience.

These Micromesh biopsy cassettes are compatible with Leica and Sakura printers, With 1676 square openings (0.38 mm) there is greatly improved fluid exchange without having to use biopsy pads. Large anterior and posterior slots in cassette and cover ensure the biopsy cassette will sink rapidly. A large square compartment with a side measuring 27 mm is perfect, even for needle biopsies. Molded from a special high density polymer, these patented cassettes keep specimens submerged and are resistant to the chemical action of histological solvents. The Micromesh mesh ensures efficient fluid exchange and drainage. The one-piece integral lid eliminates the need for separate steel lids. The anterior printing area is a 45 degree angle which suits most cassette labeling instruments. One-piece disposable plastic lids are available separately. The lids can be opened and closed as often as necessary and it always relock securely without danger of specimen loss.

Electron Microscopy Sciences EM5-8B-PE 5 Block Embedding Mold-8 mm Body
The block embedding mold features an innovative new design based on the widely used Ø8 mm size embedding mold. The unique two part design allows for easy removal of resin blocks, as well as incorporating many other advantages over currently available embedding products.
It has separate base and tube sections that clip together to form the familiar capsule shape. It allows for easy removal of resin blocks achieved by simply pulling the mold apart by hand.
It can produce blocks up to 20 mm in length with no razor blades or capsule presses are required. Each mold can be clipped to other molds, allowing for the creation of trays of desired size. Each cavity is numbered 1 < 5, whilst the end support stands have designated areas for writing indexing numbers or comments.

The new EMS multi-compartment biopsy cassettes are available with 2, 4 or 9 compartments with 0.6mm holes for added efficiency. Made from high density acetal they are resistant to histological solvents like alcohol and xylene. Casettes are preassembled with easy to open and close lids.
