Neisseria gonorrhoeae strain SK-92-679 was isolated in 1992 from the blood of a woman diagnosed with disseminated gonococcal infection (DGI) at a hospital in Seattle, Washington. This strain is tetracycline-resistant and has applications in sexually transmitted disease research.
