ATCC SHP-77; Small Cell Lung Cancer; Human (Homo sapiens)
SHP-77 epithelial cells are derived from a non-encapsulated primary lung tumor from the apical portion of the upper lobe of the left lung of a 54-year-old, White male in 1977. SHP-77 cells can serve as an in vitro target in 51Cr and 111 in release cytotoxicity assays as well as in vivo nude mice assays for evaluating immune reactivity of cells and serum from lung cancer patients. The cells can be used to evaluate the immune status of patients with SCLC who are treated with radiation or chemotherapy.

HCC1599 is an epithelial cell that was isolated from the mammary gland of a 44-year-old, White, female patient with ductal carcinoma TNM stage IIIA, grade 3. The cell was deposited by AF Gazdar and AK Virmani and can be used in cancer research.

Primary Human Retinal Microvascular Endothelial Cells (ACBRI 181 V) were initiated from normal human retinal tissue. Unlike cells from other providers, our primary cells are isolated without positive control antibody labels for enhanced biological relevance. Each vial contains ~1 x 10^6 cells with 85-92% viability under ideal conditions. They are available at Passage 3 (<12 cumulative population doublings) and will initiate a Passage 4 cell culture in a 75 cm2 flask.
