ATCC HCC1007 BL; Lymphoblastoid Cell; Human (Homo sapiens)
HCC1007 BL is a B lymphoblast cell that was isolated from the peripheral blood of a 67-year-old Black female. Cells were transformed with EBV. It is the same patient as the breast carcinoma cell line HCC1008 (ATCC CRL-2320). The cell was deposited by AF Gazdar and AK Virmani, and can be used in immunology research.
ATCC Modified PYNFH Medium 1 vial prepares 55 ml of medium
Modified PYNFH Medium is the recommended formulation for the axenic cultivation of small, free-living amoebae, including Hartmannella, Naegleria, Willaertia, Vahlkampfia, Capsaspora, Nuclearia; the trypanosomatids Crithidia, Blastocrithidia, Herpetomonas, Leptomonas, Phytomonas; and certain ciliates such as Tetrahymena, Dexiostoma, and Glaucoma. Shuttle expression vector derived from pJIR418 (ATCC# 77387) permitting expression of antibiotic resistance in both hosts. The chloramphenicol resistance gene (catP), expressed in both Clostridium perfingens and Escherichia coli, was derived from C. perfingens and is inactivated by insertions at the EcoRV site.
