Mesenchymal Stem Cell Growth Kit for Adipose and Umbilical-derived MSCs - Low Serum contains components that when added to Mesenchymal Stem Cell Basal Medium (ATCC PCS-500-030) create a complete ATCC Primary Cell Solutions culture environment for multipotent stem cells derived from normal human tissues including lipoaspirates (eg, Adipose-derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells; Normal, Human, ATCC PCS-500-011) or umbilical cord (Umbilical Cord-derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells; Normal, Human, ATCC PCS-500-010). The low serum (2% FBS) medium formulation is designed to support normal, undifferentiated mesenchymal stem cell morphology and promotes rapid growth and proliferation. No feeder layers, extracellular matrix proteins, or other substrates are required.

The epidermal layer of the skin provides an essential function as a protective barrier against insults from the external environment. Leukapheresis is performed using the Spectra Optia Apheresis System. Mononucleated cell-rich blood is continuously collected using ACD-A as an anticoagulant. This product provides no less than 10 billion total nucleated cells (TNC). TNC in our leukapheresis products are composed of, on average, 50% T cells, 20% monocytes, 10% B cells, 7% NK cells, and 3% granulocytes. Actual product volume, TNC concentration, and cell type percentages vary from collection to collection.
HLA and CMV status are available upon request. All donors undergo an in-person screening including bloodborne pathogens testing, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV 1 and 2.

The PathHunter CCR5 Activated GPCR internalization cell line is a stable, engineered cell line for use in studying drug candidates (small molecules or biologics) affecting GPCR activation and internalization. This cell line uses EFC technology to measure ligand-induced internalization of CCR5 via detection of localization to the early endosome. The included cell line overexpresses EA-tagged β-Arrestin-2 as well as a ProLink-tagged early endosome protein and untagged CCR5. Upon ligand-induced receptor activation, β-Arrestin-2 is recruited to the activated GPCR and the resulting CCR5-arrestin complex is internalized to the early endosome, leading to production of EFC signal.
