Human Genomic DNA, Male, is comprised of a pool of ≥ 8 normal donors. It is intact DNA extracted from freshly harvested whole blood of healthy males. DNA is treated with DNase free-RNase to remove residual contaminant RNA. Human genomic DNA can be used for a variety of molecular applications including PCR, southern blotting, and DNA library construction. It can also be used as normal reference DNA for comparative genomic hybridizations (CGH). Alternative name: gDNA. Concentration: 150 - 250 µg/mL in 10 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, containing 1 mM EDTA. Formulation: Liquid. Long Term Storage: -20°C.
