Part of the ZymoPURE Plasmid Kits collection, the ZymoPURE II Plasmid Maxiprep kit provides the fastest and simplest method available to efficiently isolate up to 1.2 mg of transfection grade plasmid DNA from E. coli. Utilizing a modified alkaline lysis in conjunction with a novel binding system, the ZymoPURE II Plasmid Maxiprep kit can process up to 150 ml of culture in less than 20 minutes. This remarkable kit results in significantly more plasmid DNA while providing drastically reduced processing times. The ZR-96 DNA Clean & Concentrator-5 products provide purification of up to 5 µg DNA per well from PCR, endonuclease digestions, DNA modification reactions, isotope/fluorescence labeling reactions, etc. The product facilitates the removal of DNA polymerases, modifying enzymes, RNA polymerases, ligases, kinases, nucleases, phosphatases, and restriction endonucleases, as well as free dNTPs and their analogs including radiolabeled and fluorescent derivatives. Active Motif Nucleosome Preparation Kit
Active Motif's Nucleosome Preparation Kit is designed to prepare mono- and oligonucleosomes starting from cells. Nucleosomes comprise the smallest subunit of chromatin and consist of 147 bp of DNA wrapped around an octamer of core histone proteins (H2A, H2B, H3 and H4). Each nucleosome is separated by a linker of DNA. The Nucleosome Preparation Kit uses an enzymatic cocktail to digest the linker DNA. By adjusting the digestion time, it is possible to control the amount of mononucleosomes or oligonucleosomes extracted. Because isolated nucleosomes are more physiologically relevant than histones alone or synthetic peptides, they are ideally suited for use as substrates in the analysis of histone post-translational modifications, enzyme kinetics or inhibitor screening studies.

The product features a uniquely formulated urine DNA stabilization reagent that also functions as a precipitation reagent. After collection, total (cellular and cell-free) or cell-free urine can be stored at ambient temperature for up to one month by adding the Urine Conditioning Buffer. When ready to extract the urine DNA, just add the Clearing Beads, vortex, and centrifuge to collect the precipitate. Following precipitation, chemical lysis and enzymatic digestion are used to extract DNA from the precipitate. The DNA is subsequently purified and concentrated using ZymoSpin™ IC-S Columns.
