Norgen Biotek Corp Urine DNA Isolation Micro Kit
This kit provides a fast, reliable and simple procedure for isolating DNA from up to 1.75 mL of urine. Both high molecular weight DNA (greater than 1 kb in size; mostly cell associated) and the smaller DNA (150 - 250 bp; derived from the circulation) is effectively isolated and purified using a rapid and convenient spin column protocol. Multiple samples can be processed in 30 minutes. This kit can be used to isolate DNA from a broad range of viruses in urine as well. Salts, metabolic wastes, proteins and other contaminants are removed to yield inhibitor-free DNA for use in sensitive applications. The DNA is of excellent quality for various downstream applications such as PCR, qPCR and DNA fingerprinting, methylation studies and more. This kit is fully compatible with Norgen's Urine Collection and Preservation Tubes.
Biotium AccuGreen™ Broad Range dsDNA Quantitation Kit (500 assays)
The AccuGreen™ Broad Range dsDNA Quantitation Kit is designed for use with handheld fluorometers such as the Qubit fluorometer from Thermo Fisher. The AccuGreen™ kit is specific for dsDNA, and can quantify DNA samples in the range of 0.2-100 ng/uL. The assay has a green fluorescence with an excitation/emission of 500/530 nm (with DNA). This kit has sufficient reagent for 500 assays.
Norgen Biotek Corp Oligo Clean-Up/Concentrat Kit
This kit provides a rapid spin column procedure for the purification and concentration of up to 10 µg of oligonucleotides of various sizes. The kit is used for the purification of synthesized oligos, as well as the clean-up of oligos from various upstream enzymatic reactions such as ligation, Poly(A) tailing and end-labeling. Single or double stranded DNA or RNA oligos larger than 10 bp can be purified with this kit (not recommended for the removal of PCR primers). Oligos of up to 1000 bp have been tested with this kit.This kit purifies oligos from other reaction components including proteins, buffers and nucleotides without the use of phenol, chloroform, alcohol precipitation or urea PAGE extraction. The kit provides a high quality product with up to 90% recovery. Purified oligos can be used in a number of downstream applications such as end-point or quantitative reverse transcription PCR and RNAi studies.

BioChain's tissue genomic DNAs are isolated from a wide variety of tissues using a proprietary modified guanidine thiocyanate technique. The quality and purity of genomic DNA are tested by spectrophotometer and electrophoresis. A260/280 is between 1.8 and 2.0, and A260/230 is >2.0 (detected in 10 mM Tris-Cl, pH 7.5). Contamination of RNA, polysaccharides and proteoglycans has been effectively eliminated.
