Lyo-Ready RNA/DNA qPCR Urine is a glycerol-free, high-concentration, ready-to-use RT-qPCR formulation engineered with a proprietary buffer system designed for overcoming inhibitors found in urine. It allows accurate target amplification direct from urine or pooled urine samples. It can be used in multiplex assays that require minimal sample processing and fast turn-around times without compromising sensitivity, for low copy number samples. It also increase reproducibility in extracted samples, as extraction methods are not always 100% efficient, often resulting in loss of target nucleic acid and potential co-purification of urine PCR inhibitors that can interfere with amplification, leading to false-negative results. It is ideal for room temperature, lyophilized, singleplex and multiplex RT-qPCR assays and is suited for high-throughput, automated platforms or microfluidic qPCR platforms.

The mix is uniquely designed to overcome much higher concentrations of inhibitors, and so do not require a DNA or RNA purification step to concentrate and purify a patient sample. Very fast reaction kinetics result in faster time to results and superior amplification sensitivity and specificity. In addition, the 4x concentrated master mix is formulated with lyo-excipients which are optimized for freeze-drying to create ambient-temperature stable assays, making it ideal for POC stool testing.

Lyo-Ready LAMP Mix 4x is a glycerol-free mix for use in loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP). It combines the latest advances in buffer chemistry and reaction enhancers, together with an optimized concentration of strand-displacing Polymerase, dNTP and proprietary lyo-excipients allowing ambient temperature stabilization through lyophilization. Lyo-Ready LAMP Mix has been designed for fast, sensitive and highly reproducible DNA target amplification. In order to produce lyophilized ambient-temperature stable LAMP assays, specific primers need to be added prior to lyophilization.

This MAb recognizes a protein of 130 kDa, identified as Ksp-cadherin. Cadherins form a superfamily of related glycoproteins that mediate calcium-dependent cell adhesion and transmit signals from the extracellular matrix to the cytoplasm. Cadherins have been implicated in embryogenesis, tissue morphogenesis, tissue structure maintenance, cell polarization, neoplastic invasiveness and metastasis, and membrane transport. It is suggested that Ksp-cadherin is a marker for terminal differentiation of the basolateral membranes of renal tubular epithelial cells. Within the kidney, Ksp-Cadherin is found exclusively in the basolateral membrane of renal tubular epithelial cells and collecting duct cells, and not in glomeruli, renal interstitial cells, or blood vessels. The ImmPRESS-HRP Anti-Mouse IgG (Peroxidase) Polymer Detection Kit is made in goat and targets mouse primary antibodies. The ImmPRESS reporter enzyme staining system uses novel conjugation chemistry to create a highly sensitive, ready-to-use, one-step, biotin-free detection system. (A combination of highly active enzyme (peroxidase or alkaline phosphatase) and affinity-purified secondary antibodies results in crisp, strong staining. The ImmPRESS micropolymer technology minimizes steric interference and provides enhanced accessibility to the primary antibody targets. The IHC immunostaining protocol is simple. Following a blocking step with 2.5% goat serum, sections are incubated with primary antibody. After a brief wash, the appropriate ImmPRESS Reagent is added to the sections and incubated for 30 minutes. Sections are again rinsed and the slides are developed with a peroxidase or alkaline phosphatase substrate. The ImmPRESS Reagent is ready-to-use and stains 75-150 sections.

Cytokeratin 8 (CK8) belongs to the type II (or B or basic) subfamily of high molecular weight cytokeratins and exists in combination with cytokeratin 18 (CK18). This MAb cocktail recognizes all simple epithelia including glandular epithelium, for example thyroid, female breast, gastrointestinal tract, respiratory tract, and urogenital tract including transitional epithelium. All adenocarcinomas and most squamous carcinomas are positive but keratinizing squamous carcinomas are usually negative.
