This is a competitive ELISA in strip well format with reagents for up to 96 tests . PTH present in samples reacts with an anti-Bovine PTH monoclonal capture antibody or antigen coated and dried on a microtiter plate. Then, PTH conjugated to biotin competes with the antigen in the sample to bind the capture antibody/antigen. Unbound conjugate and sample antigen is washed away and bound conjugate is then reacted with avidin conjugated to horseradish peroxidase. TMB substrate is used for color development at 450nm.
