This gene encodes complement factor B a component of the alternative pathway of complement activation Factor B circulates in the blood as a single chain polypeptide Upon activation of the alternative pathway it is cleaved by complement factor D yielding the noncatalytic chain Ba and the catalytic subunit Bb The active subunit Bb is a serine protease which associates with C3b to form the alternative pathway C3 convertase Bb is involved in the proliferation of preactivated B lymphocytes while Ba inhibits their proliferation This gene localizes to the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class III region on chromosome 6 This cluster includes several genes involved in regulation of the immune reaction Polymorphisms in this gene are associated with a reduced risk of age-related macular degeneration The polyadenylation site of this gene is 421 bp from the 5 end of the gene for complement component 2

Apolipoprotein H, also known as APOH, is a human protein expressed in HEK293 cells with a His tag at the C-terminus. This protein is a primary target of anti-phospholipid antibodies (aPLs) associated with systemic lupus erythematosus and antiphospholipid syndrome. It is supplied as a lyophilized powder, formulated from a 0.22 μm filtered solution of 20 mM PB, 150 mM NaCl, pH 7.2; or 50 mM Tris-HCl, 300 mM NaCl, pH 7.4; or PBS, pH 7.4, 8% trehalose.
- Expressed in HEK293 cells with a C-terminal His tag
- Purity of >= 95% as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE
- Molecular weight approximately 45-70 kDa
- Endotoxin level less than 1 EU/μg
- Functional in cell proliferation assay with Jurkat human T-lymphocyte leukemia cells
- Binds Biotinylated Human LDL R in functional ELISA

Biotium Serum Amyloid A (SAA/2868R), CF488A conjugate, 0.1mg/mL
This antibody reacts with natural and recombinant human Serum Amyloid A (SAA) and does not cross-react with other human cytokines or growth factors. Human SAA proteins are a group of apo-lipoproteins found predominantly in the high-density lipoprotein (HDL) fraction of plasma. SAA is a major acute-phase protein and precursor to amyloid A protein, which is the major constituent of the fibril deposits of reactive amyloidosis. SAA is secreted in large amounts by the liver during microbial infections or inflammatory diseases.Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a selection of fluorescent CF Dyes and other labels. CF Dyes offer exceptional brightness and photostability. Note: Conjugates of blue fluorescent dyes like CF405S and CF405M are not recommended for detecting low abundance targets, because blue dyes have lower fluorescence and can give higher non-specific background than other dye colors.

Biotium Catenin, gamma (Cardiomyocyte Marker)(CTNG/2155R), Biotin conjugate, 0.1mg/mL
Gamma catenin, also known as JUP or junction plakoglobin, is a member of the catenin family. The catenins (alpha, beta, gamma, and delta) are ubiquitously expressed, cytoplasmic proteins that associate with E-cadherin at cellular junctions. Catenin/cadherin complexes play an important role in mediating cellular adhesion, including adherens junctions. Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a selection of fluorescent CF Dyes and other labels. CF Dyes offer exceptional brightness and photostability. Note: Conjugates of blue fluorescent dyes like CF405S and CF405M are not recommended for detecting low abundance targets, because blue dyes have lower fluorescence and can give higher non-specific background than other dye colors.
