The AR41L2Q31 growth chamber is designed for growth of Arabidopsis and low light plant growth. SciWhite w/ red LEDs are dimmable from 10-100% output with up to 405 µmoles/m2/s irradiance @ 6". IntellusUltra controller, touchscreen, additive CO2 with IR sensor up to 5000 ppm. Interior/exterior of smooth white galvanized steel w/ foamed-in-place non-CFC insulation and a stainless-steel floor for corrosion resistance. Air circulation inside chamber is from a specifically designed adjustable air diffuser. Two epoxy coated steel wire shelves adjustable in ½” increments. Self-contained air-cooled condensing unit w/ hot gas bypass system for continuous compressor operation extends life, ensuring precise temperature control by alternately cycling refrigerant and hot gas to coil; also prolongs life of compressor, and eliminates risk of ice build up in coil. AdipoGen ANTS
Chemical. CAS 5398-34-5. Formula C10H7NNa2O9S3. Molecular Weight 427.34. ANTS is a highly negatively charged dye with an amino group that can be coupled to an aldehyde or ketone group to form an unstable Schiff base. The Schiff base is usually chemically reduced by sodium borohydride NaBH4 or sodium cyanoborohydride NaBCNH3 to form a stable linkage. This labeling technique has been widely used for the labeling and subsequent sequencing of oligosaccharides and glycoproteins. The negative charges of the dye facilitate the electrophoretic separation of the degradation products of carbohydrate polymers. The polyanionic dye ANTS is used together with the fluorescent cationic quencher DPX for membrane fusion studies or permeability assays. The mixture of ANTS-DPX is minimally fluorescent initially, but becomes increasingly more fluorescent upon dilution i.e. membrane fusion or leakage. ANTS also is used as a neuronal tracer.
