It is used to test the functioning of System Sensor devices by simulating smoke when held near the unit. This activates the alarm to ensure it is working properly. The magnet attaches to a pole for easy access to ceiling-mounted detectors. It is suitable for testing a variety of System Sensor models including the 2151, 2151T, 2151R, 2151TRA, and 2151RTRA.
