Poly Crimp Seal, 11mm, Green Cap, PTFE/Silicone/PTFE Septum. A crimp cap constructed of plastic that fits virtually any 11mm crimp sample vial. Use a standard crimping tool to securely crimp the Poly Crimp seal onto any crimp top vial. The Poly Crimp seal also permits an airtight seal by hand without crimping. Although the Poly Crimp seal can work with any crimp top vial, the tighter manufacturing tolerances and quality assurance program with the vials supplied by Chemglass certifies better performance when the cap is used with Chemglass supplied vials. Medium durometer silicone with .003 silicone laminated on both sides. Great for trace analysis work. Resist coring and good resealing characteristics. Use with auto samplers with blunt tip syringes.

Cap, White, Solid Top, 13-425, with 0.60" PP/PTFE/Silicone SURE-LINK Septa. These caps, made of polypropylene, are ideal for use with volatile solvents, sensitive compounds, and biological media. The SURE-LINK process welds each cap with a Polypropylene/PTFE/Silicone liner bonded to the cap. This process allows the cap to maintain seal through multiple autoclaving operations or cleaning procedures without the use of adhesives. Caps are ideal for storage of samples for prolonged periods of time. They are autoclavable at 121C.
