Advanced Biomatrix Glycosil Version 2.0 Thiol-Modified Hyaluronan, 2 units x 5 mL
Glycosil is a thiol-modified hyaluronic acid. Glycosil hyaluronic acid is a component of the HyStem, HyStem-C and HyStem-HP hydrogel kits but can be purchased separately here. Comes with 10 mL of Buffer A. HyStem V2.0 kit components are reconstituted with a buffered 1X PBS. The resulting components will also result in a pH neutral isotonic salt hydrogel. The ending pH, osmo, and rheological properties are the same from Version 1.0 to Version 2.0. Glycosil hyaluronic acid is a component of the HyStem and Hystem-C hydrogel kits and can be purchased separately in individual vials. Glycosil is a thiol-modified hyaluronic acid and a constituent of native extracellular matrix (ECM). Glycosil is used in conjunction with Gelin-S or ECM proteins such as laminin, collagen, or fibronectin for most 3-D cell culture and tissue-engineering applications.

This product has been purified from human plasma where it is found as a mixture of 75kDa and 65kDa polypeptides.Vitronectins primary use in cell culture is related to cell adhesion. It also binds to heparin and collagen.Vitronectin is ideal for coating of surfaces. The optimal concentration for cell attachment and culture may differ for various cell types. Vitronectin has been used at a final coating concentration as low as 50 ng/cm2 on plasticware. It is provided in user-friendly packaging for use and storage. Its primary objective is to ensure cell viability, maintain the integrity of cell surface markers and minimize stress to cells during the detachment process. Available individually or as part of the PRG (4Z0-800) or Passage Reagent System (4Z0-840). The EDTA in PRG-1 loosens cell attachment gently from culture surfaces. Trypsin concentration in PRG-2 is optimized to detach loosened cells while minimizing adverse effects on cell viability and surface markers.
