Purchasing an Assay ID via Assay Tools

An Assay ID on fishersci.com is a unique identifier used to label and track specific assay products, helping manage information such as gene symbols, assay names, dye labels, primer details, and other relevant data. 

To request an Assay ID:

1. Navigate to Assay Tools:
   • Open the site menu (☰).
   • Go to "Tools".
   • Select the Assay tool that best suits your needs and browse to find your product.
2. Add Assay SKU to Cart:
   • Find the product assay you need.
   • Add it to your cart.
3. Generate a Web Quote (optional):
   • Generate a Web Quote for the Assay product.
   • Download the PDF and verify the Assay ID is associated with the line item.
4. Confirm Assay ID:
   • Confirm Assay ID is listed with the line item.
5. Proceed to Checkout:
   • Complete the checkout process as usual.
     • If you are purchasing through an eProcurement system, you will need to click "Return Cart to Purchasing Application" and then complete checkout as usual.
