Valuable feedback from verified purchasers helps us improve your shopping experience — and, ultimately, your satisfaction with scientific and safety products — by empowering customers like you to make more informed buying decisions.


Verification

Why should I trust these product ratings?

We accept ratings only from verified purchasers — account holders who have made a purchase directly on fishersci.com — so you can be confident that all ratings come from actual product users.

All product ratings are posted to the site automatically each night to give you a fully up-to-date view of all verified purchasers’ ratings.


Rating and Reviewing

How do I provide a product rating?

If you are an eligible customer, you can rate select Fisherbrand products by signing in to your account on fishersci.com and visiting the My Ratings page, which you can access via the Your Account drop down.

See the Eligibility section on this page to find out if you are an eligible customer.

Where can I see my rated products?

As you rate products, they will appear on your My Ratings page along with your associated ratings and reviews. The product rating you provide will be combined with other verified purchasers’ ratings for that same product to calculate the new scores that will display on our website the following day.

Can I add a review for a product?

Yes — if you are a verified purchaser of a Fisherbrand product that is included in our ratings program, we encourage you to add your review of the product to help us better understand its advantages and areas for improvement from your perspective as an actual user.

Will my review for a product be shown on the website?

No — while the input we receive from customer reviews helps us improve Fisherbrand products, at this time only product ratings, not product reviews, are being displayed publicly on our site.


Privacy

Will I be personally identified when I add a product rating? Will it display my name?

No names or other account identifiers are associated with the ratings displayed on fishersci.com. You will not be publicly identified when you provide a product rating.

Will I ever be contacted about my rating and/or review?

If you provide a low rating (2 stars or lower) for a product, we will ask for your permission to be contacted so we can learn more about why the product did not meet your expectations. To participate, simply select Contact Me from the pop-up window; a representative will then follow up within 7–10 business days.

Can I stop receiving ratings emails?

You can unsubscribe from ratings emails by clicking on either the Change Your Email Preferences or Unsubscribe from Ratings Email links found in the footer of every ratings email.


Eligibility

Why can’t I participate in product ratings?

Possibly because you are purchasing through an eProcurement system. If you order products on fishersci.com via an eProcurement system, you won’t be able to rate products because eProcurement systems prevent us from verifying purchasers for the purposes of our ratings program.

Currently, only account holders who make purchases directly on fishersci.com, rather than through an eProcurement solution, can be verified as purchasers who are eligible to leave product ratings.

Why aren’t all products available to be rated? When will all products be eligible?

At this time, only select Fisherbrand products that have been purchased by verified users are eligible for the product ratings program. During this initial phase, we are closely monitoring the program and growing it slowly to ensure a positive experience for all customers.

Over time, however, we plan to expand our ratings program to allow for ratings of additional products, including those from other suppliers across fishersci.com.
