Description

Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Reconstitute with 0.2 mL of distilled water to yield a concentration of 500 μg/mL. Positive Control - WB: human Hela whole cell lysates, human SiHa whole cell lysates, human A431 whole cell lysates, human U251 whole cell lysates, rat liver tissue lysates, rat heart tissue lysates, mouse liver tissue lysates, mouse heart tissue lysates. The protein encoded by this gene is targeted to the inner mitochondrial membrane where it catalyzes the first step of the mitochondrial fatty acid beta-oxidation pathway. This acyl-Coenzyme A dehydrogenase is specific to long-chain and very-long-chain fatty acids. A deficiency in this gene product reduces myocardial fatty acid beta-oxidation and is associated with cardiomyopathy. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
