Sterile Acrodisc syringe filters with Versapor (acrylic copolymer) membrane are certified non-pyrogenic and biologically safe. These sterile filters can be used to filter aqueous samples and are ideal for use in the prefiltration of particulate laden samples, clarification of biological solutions and serum filtration.Versapor membrane is formed from an acrylic copolymer material, this membrane has very strong and flexible properties providing excellent throughput with high liquid flow rates at low differential pressures.Acrodisc syringe filters with Versapor membrane are available sterilized by gamma irradiation. Sterilization by gamma irradiation eliminates potential cytotoxic residuals associated with EtO sterilization. They are individually blister packed to ensure sterility during storage and handling. For research use only. This product is not approved for use in medical, clinical, surgical or other patient applications.
