Syringe filters with PVDF membrane are ideal for the filtration of many organic and non-organic solvents in HPLC (0.45 μm) and UHPLC (0.2 μm) sample preparation. Filtration helps protect sensitive parts of analytical instrumentation from particulate build-up, extending chromatography column life and reducing system downtime.PVDF syringe filters are chemical compatibility with aggressive acids and alcohols. They are not recommended for the filtration of acetone, DMF, DMSO, or strong bases.Designed for the filtration of sample volumes up to 10 mL. The syringe filters are HPLC certified for low levels of UV-absorbing extractables, ensuring accurate and reliable results.Pall 13 mm syringe filters are available with a male slip luer outlet or a proprietary minispike outlet. The minispike allows for easy handling with a HPLC vial and offers a reduced hold-up volume. This product is not approved for use in medical, clinical, surgical or other patient applications.
