The Akura 384-well Spheroid and Organoid Microplate is designed for lossless spheroid/organoid formation and handling as well as reliable culturing and analysis. The ultimate spheroid screening plate unifies robust liquid and spheroid handling with automated high-throughput screening applications. The package includes 10 individually wrapped Akura 384 Spheroid Microplates, made of polystyrene, high-efficiency ULA coating, sterile, and includes a lid. Confocal imaging speed and resolution are enhanced through defined 1 mm quick-reference region of interest, black walls, and a clear, flat bottom well (0.125mm) to minimize optical aberration and ensure constant spheroid z-position. It features a unique SureXchange ledge engineered to prevent unintended spheroid/organoid aspiration while leaving a minimal residual volume (2-3 µl) for >90% medium removal using manual and automated pipetting. ANSI/SLAS standard format for full compatibility with automated liquid handling systems.
