Invitrogen™ Androgen Receptor Polyclonal Antibody

Description
PA1-111B detects androgen receptor (AR) from human samples. This antibody does not detect estrogen, progesterone, or glucocorticoid receptors. PA1-111B has been successfully used in Western blot procedures. By Western blot, this antibody detects an ~110 kDa protein representing AR from HepG2 nuclear extracts. The PA1-111B immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues M(1) E V Q L G L G R V Y P R P P S K T Y R G(21) C of human AR. This sequence is completely conserved between human, mouse, and rat AR. The PA1-111B immunizing peptide (Cat. # PEP-006) is available for use in neutralization and control experiments.
