CD14 clone MφP9 is derived from hybridization of mouse Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with peripheral blood monocytes from a patient with rheumatoid arthritis.
The CD14 antibody recognizes a human monocyte/macrophage antigen of 55 kilodaltons (kDa).
