Description
The CSLEX1 monoclonal antibody specifically binds to CD15s. This anti-Sialyl-Le[x] monoclonal antibody is specific for the α 2-3 sialosylated form of lacto-N-fucopentaose III, sialyl Lex (Sle[x]). Sle[x] is expressed on granulocytes, monocytes and both normal and tumor cells of diverse origin. It has been shown to be a ligand for both endothelial leukocyte adhesion molecule-1 (ELAM-1 or E-selectin), and granule membrane protein-140 (GMP-140 or P-selectin).
The antibody was conjugated to BD Horizon™ BV510 which is part of the BD Horizon Brilliant Violet™ family of dyes. With an Ex Max of 405-nm and Em Max at 510-nm, BD Horizon BV510 can be excited by the violet laser and detected in the BD Horizon V500 (525/50-nm) filter set. BD Horizon BV510 conjugates are useful for the detection of dim markers off the violet laser.
