The rotor accommodates 18 x 1.5/2.0 mL microcentrifuge tubes. It has a compact footprint, digital display, 10 acceleration/deceleration rates, and a pulse key for short spin cycles. Safety features include an imbalance detector that prevents the rotor from spinning if improperly loaded.
