Versatile—use for fluid, tissue, or swab specimens

  • Collect and maintain specimens at 20° to 25°C for up to 72 hours
  • Ensure aerobic, anaerobic, microaerophilic or facultative microorganism viability during transport from patient to laboratory (including Campylobacter jejuni)
  • Reduced medium formulated to protect oxygen-sensitive microbes
  • Media contain an indicator that continuously monitors the reduced media status
  • Collect specimen on a swab, as a fluid, or as a tissue specimen
  • Available as tube system (capacity 11mL), jar system (capacity 20mL), or vial system (capacity 5mL)
  • Sterile Package contains either one tube and two polyester-tipped wooden swabs, one vial or one jar
  • Screw-cap jar is 3 in. tall and has a 1 in.-wide mouth; not for use with fluids
  • Fluid Collection Kit contains one sterile-packaged vial containing media and a 5cc syringe with a 22-gauge needle and Luer-Lok™ closure
