Description
Interleukin-15 (IL-15) is a potent immunoregulatory cytokine produced by a variety of cell types including monocytes and epithelial cells. This T cell growth factor can enhance cytolytic activity of antigen-specific T cells and lymphokine-activated killer cells. Human IL-15 is an 11 kDa protein, as determined by SDS-PAGE analysis.
