HI-Res Sequencing Primers are specifically engineered to improve sequencing performance at the 5' end of reads, a region that has traditionally been difficult to resolve with standard primer designs. By optimizing primer characteristics and sequencing signal behavior, these primers enable clearer peak resolution and more reliable base calling in early read regions.

Historically, achieving improved 5' end resolution required modified workflows using alternative polymers such as POP-6™, often introducing additional complexity, time, and verification requirements. HI-Res primers enhance 5' end resolution within standard sequencing workflows using POP-7™ polymer.
