- Manufactured from borosilicate glass
- Includes borosilicate glass lid with a molded-in knob
- Clear glass provides excellent visibility and can be autoclaved
- Desiccator rims and lid are made of ground glass
- Greasing before use is required to create an air-tight seal
- A perforated porcelain desiccator plate is included and fits onto a ridge above the lower chamber
- Standard drying agents such as silica or anhydrous calcium chloride can be positioned in the lower chamber
- Max Clearance Above Plate: 215 mm
