Thermo Scientific Chemicals BSA Blocking Buffer, 5% in PBS, with 0.05% Tween-20
BSA (bovine serum albumin) blocking buffer, 3% in PBS, is a blocking agent ideal for saturating excess protein-binding sites on membranes.
Supplier: Thermo Scientific Chemicals J63711AK
Description
Buffered BSA solution used to block ELISA strips and as a diluent of primary and secondary antibodies used for ELISA applications. BSA is useful for saturating excess protein-binding sites on membranes and microplates in immunoassays. Blocker BSA is usually more effective than nonfat milk blocking buffers for biotin-avidin systems. Use as a diluent for antigens, antibodies, and other proteins only after sensitization of the microwell plate or membrane.
This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. The original Alfa Aesar product / item code or SKU reference has not changed as a part of the brand transition to Thermo Scientific Chemicals.
