Description
MA1-91114 detects recognizes canine parvovirus (CPV) and feline panleucopenia virus (FPV). This antibody has also been reported to detect mink parvovirus (data unpublished). This product does not require protein digestion pre-treatment of paraffin sections e.g trypsin or pronase prior to staining. This product does not require antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections. Not tested in Western blotting.
CPV is reported to be a host range variant of FPV which emerged as a result of mutations of the viral capsid.
