Mouse Monoclonal Antibody

MA1-82094 detects canine parvovirus (CPV) and feline panleucopenia virus (FPV), and will also cross-react with mink parvovirus. This antibody does not recognize canine adenovirus (type2), canine coronavirus, canine distemper, canine parinfluenza virus, feline leukaemia virus, or feline immunodeficiency virus This product does not require protein digestion pre-treatment of paraffin embedded sections. This product does not require antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin embedded sections. Mouse anti Canine/ Feline parvovirus antibody, clone CPV1-2A1 recognizes canine parvovirus (CPV) and feline panleucopenia virus (FPV).

CPV is reported to be a host range variant of FPV which emerged as a result of mutations of the viral capsid.
