Invitrogen™ CD196 (CCR6) Monoclonal Antibody (R6H1), PE-eFluor™ 610, eBioscience™

Description
Description: This R6H1 monoclonal antibody reacts with CD196 (also known as CCR6), a seven transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor expressed on T, B, dendritic, natural killer, and Langerhans cells. This CC chemokine receptor uniquely binds MIP-3a/CCL20, a chemoattractant for dendritic cells, effector/memory T cells, and B cells. CD196 is also involved in host defense and inflammation at epithelial sites. Furthermore, this receptor has been implicated in Th17 differentiation and CD4+FoxP3+ regulatory T cell development. Applications Reported: This R6H1 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis. Applications Tested: This R6H1 antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. This can be used at 5 μL (0.125 μg) per test. A test is defined as the amount (μg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 μL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. PE-eFluor® 610 can be excited with laser lines from 488-561 nm and emits at 607 nm. We recommend using a 610/20 band pass filter (equivalent to PE-Texas Red®). Please make sure that your instrument is capable of detecting this fluorochome. Light sensitivity: This tandem dye is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Please protect this vial and stained samples from light. Fixation: Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222) (100 μL of cell sam...

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Yes, the eFluor Organic fluorochromes can be used for intracellular staining. The eFluor organic fluorochromes maintain bright signal and require minimal changes in compensation when fixed with eBioscience IC Fixation Buffer (Cat. No. 00-8222-49) and Permeabilization Buffer (Cat. No. 00-8333-56) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Cat. No. 00-5333-54, 00-5333-57) (as compared to live cells).
The eFluor Organic Dyes (eFluor 450, APC-eFluor 780, PerCP-eFluor 710, eFluor 710) are conventional fluorochromes. In contrast, the eVolve line of products are Quantum dots.
As with other fluorochromes, we recommend minimal exposure to light to maintain optimal signal.
